Congratulations: The Baytown Parks & Recreation Department recently won the East Region TRAPS Lone Star Programming Award for the city’s 2-day Juneteenth Celebration. This event was truly a collaborative community effort organized by a Juneteenth Committee spearheaded by city council member Charles Johnson. The committee connected various sponsors and businesses within Baytown to make the event a success that was attended by over 5,000 guests from the Baytown/Houston region!
